COLLECTING VIDEO FROM OPERATING ROOMS AND OF SURGERIES FOR AI HEALTHCARE PROJECTS

Partnering with multiple hospital sites, medDARE has installed cameras in the operating rooms to capture all phases of the daily OR routine. We record the whole day in the OR, including preparation for the surgery, surgery itself, post-op cleaning. Staff and patients’ consents are collected according to HIPAA and GDPR policies.

medDARE’s in-house data anonymization team uses our own tool for blurring patients’ faces, screens and any PHI that might be in the video. Afterwards, a meticulous quality control process takes place for all recorded videos so no frame is missed. Learn more about our data anonymization process here.

medDARE has access to the following videos recorded with various devices and in multiple hospital sites. Prospective data collection is also available for projects recorded on demand.
