There’s a moment when your work stops being just work—and becomes something deeply personal. For me, that moment came when I began shaping what would later become medDARE.
The idea of building something impactful in healthcare AI had been with me for a long time. During my time leading other big companies as CEO—managing over 2,000 employees and working across a variety of AI-driven industries—the thought kept returning: What if we could use this technology not just to optimize, but to save lives?
Unlike other sectors, healthcare isn’t just about innovation—it’s about meaning. And I couldn’t stop thinking about how we could build something that truly makes the world better.
Starting medDARE was both exciting and humbling.
I wasn’t new to building companies, but this time the challenges were different.
We weren’t just assembling an admin or support team—we had to build operational depth from the ground up: doctors, radiologists, clinicians, and others who spoke a completely different language than I did at the time. We had to build trust with medical institutions and design meaningful partnerships to access valuable data. And, of course, we had to find the right clients—not just those looking for AI services, but those truly focused on better outcomes and lasting value.
Understanding their needs and how we could genuinely help them, became our guiding principle.
And once we had that foundation, everything else became a matter of time, focus, and effort.
Today, I’m so incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.
